This week I tackle the looming white page without any idea what I'm going to do.

I didn't have to wait long before inspiration struck. I credit the short wait to my practice of coming to the page almost daily. Something always comes to me, which makes me trust the process even more.
I show you how to add awesome layers and then bring it all together and add a focal image. You’ll see me change my mind, make mistakes and a hot mess but I was confident I could be happy with the end painting, simply because of my painting practice.
Please enjoy the video walk-through.
A note about colors, for those of you who are beginners: you may want to stick to warm colors for the first layer (reds, oranges & yellows) and then dry before you add cool colors (purples, blues & greens). If you don’t, your colors could create a muddy color that isn’t as vibrant. With my sprays, I tend to keep the colors sort of separate while spraying and there are certain colors that occur when they mix and I’m ok with those bc they are gorgeous. So you may have to make mud in order to figure it out. Just play! This will be fun.
I hope I’ve inspired you to create something gorgeous today!
Thank you for joining me!
