Go With The Emotional Flow

We are coming up on the new moon for April, and this is about the time I usually begin to work with the new energy coming up. But I also really like documenting my successes for the previous month and the vow I made for that month.

It helps me to see what I’ve accomplished, how my vow worked for me or worked me over lol.

Without further ado, in March we had a Piscean New Moon and I was very emotional during that period. I didn’t do much in the way of preparation, but in the little reading I did, “Go with the emotional flow” was what I vowed.

It barely registered for me.

I also didn’t make much progress on my intentional eating vow from February, which I had carried over to March. My weight loss stalled because I was getting stuck in binges of CHEESE! I’ve been able to nip that in the bud by simply not bring cheese sticks into my house for the time being. Mindless eating in front of a screen is just so tempting. This may be a good time to renew this vow and bring ‘sacredness’ back to my plate.

18 things that occurred in March:

  1. I decided to push back my previous deadline of March 18th to launch my first online class. It did what I wanted it to do, which was to jump start my work.

  2. I recorded all the lessons. This is HUGE. Currently, I'm editing and writing.

  3. My best friend and I have continued to meet for dinner to wrestle and work toward our entrepreneurial goals. We set mini goals with 3 week increments and each move towards those. It is really effective!

  4. The last BF dinner, I had forgotten what I wanted to do, and realized I had done every single thing on my list without realizing it. go me!

  5. We adopted a dog.

  6. I stood up for myself with my boss (he was making a lot of jokey comments about what I ate and trying to bribe me into eating donuts and the things that aren’t on my diet plan currently. I told him to stop, and so far, he has). This was huge.

  7. My husband and I hung out with family who were in town.

  8. I celebrated Ostara the best way I know...in my art studio.

  9. I began to figure out social media, specifically instagram, and am posting more and more there. @amyeverettart

  10. I gained 7 more followers in the month of March.

  11. I figured out which hashtags are working for me. This is a Major project that usually means doing a bunch of research. But my posts are getting seen, and from what I can tell, the hashtags are bringing people to my posts.

  12. I finished most of the writing I needed to do for my online class.

  13. I finished most of the graphics and whatnot for the class.

  14. I figured out how to post to Instagram from my laptop, which is invaluable to me.

  15. I did a Full Moon painting in gratitude. This means I've kept up with Moonshine and that's further than I got last year.

  16. I posted 4 blog entries in March.

  17. Kept my son, husband, dog and kitties alive.

  18. Didn’t do any laundry. 😂😂😂😂 no, I’m not kidding. I’m pretty sure I didn’t do any because I don't have any underwear left. 😂 (have I mentioned how I barely adult?)

In a few days, I’ll be back with April’s new moon vow and more thoughts on the matter. So I’m going to end this one now. Enjoy this time of darkness. Navel gaze if you need to. And please don’t stuff your feelings. 💜
